March Council Meeting

The next meeting of Chatteris Town Council will be held at the King Edward Centre, King Edwards Road, Chatteris, on Tuesday 5th March 2024 at 7pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend and speak in the Open Forum. For an agenda please go to the Meetings tab and scroll down to agendas.

Town Council Vacancy

Three people are contesting the Slade Lode South seat on Chatteris Town Council. The election will take place on the 14th March and polling cards will go out to those eligible to vote. New Mayor

The new Mayor of Chatteris Town Council is Cllr Anne Hay, who is also a district and county councillor. Cllr Hay’s consort is her husband Andrew and the Deputy Mayor is Cllr Ian Benney. Cllr Hay (right) is pictured receiving the chain of office from outgoing Mayor Cllr Linda Ashley.

Quiz

Thank you to everyone who attended the fun quiz at the KEC, organised by quizmaster Lucy Melton, on Friday evening. The event was a great success and raised over £300 for Chatteris Midsummer Festival funds.
