June Council Meeting

The next meeting of Chatteris Town Council will be held at the King Edward Centre, King Edwards Road, Chatteris, on Tuesday 4th June 2024 at 7pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend and speak in the Open Forum. For an agenda please go to the Meetings tab and scroll down to agendas.

D-Day 80

To Commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day on Thursday 6th June 2024 Chatteris Town Council will be lighting the beacon in the Parish Church Grounds Full Timetable 8.30pm    Performance by Chatteris Community Choir 9pm         Proclamation 9.10pm    RBL Standards to be Dipped & Prayer 9.15pm    Lighting of Beacon

New Mayor

The new Mayor of Chatteris Town Council is Cllr Anne Hay, who is also a district and county councillor. Cllr Hay’s consort is her husband Andrew and the Deputy Mayor is Cllr Ian Benney. Cllr Hay (right) is pictured receiving the chain of office from outgoing Mayor Cllr Linda Ashley.
