November Council Meeting

The next meeting of Chatteris Town Council will be held in the Council Chambers, 14 Church Lane, Chatteris, on Tuesday 4th November 2025 at 7pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend and speak in the Open Forum. For an agenda please go to the Meetings tab and scroll down to agendas.

Remembrance Sunday

Coffee Morning

The coffee morning in aid of Macmillan organised by the Mayor of Chatteris, Cllr Linda Ashley, and held at at the King Edward Centre on Friday 19th September raised an impressive £467.65 for the charity. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the worthy cause and to those who helped with the event.

The Chatteris Free Circular Bus which runs every Friday now has a new timetable. To Commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day on Thursday 6th June 2024 Chatteris Town Council will be lighting the beacon in the Parish Church Grounds Full Timetable 8.30pm    Performance by Chatteris Community Choir 9pm         Proclamation 9.10pm    RBL Standards to be Dipped & Prayer 9.15pm    Lighting of Beacon

New Mayor

The new Mayor of Chatteris Town Council is Cllr Anne Hay, who is also a district and county councillor. Cllr Hay’s consort is her husband Andrew and the Deputy Mayor is Cllr Ian Benney. Cllr Hay (right) is pictured receiving the chain of office from outgoing Mayor Cllr Linda Ashley.
